For years now my husband and I eagerly anticipate when Cirque du Soleil will be coming to San Francisco. Cirque du Soleil TOTEM will be opening in SF under the famous blue and yellow striped Big Top on October 28th.

TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations.
The performances always leave me hanging at the edge of my seat. (Pictured above: foot juggling by the Crystal Ladies and the fixed trapeze duo.)
