French artist Hervé Tullet's simple, interactive book Press Here took off back in 2011. It was a book where kids could press circles and make things "move". Fast forward to today, the fourth book in this art/interactive series with Chronicle Books, Say Zoop debuts today and brings fun sounds to the pictures. Kids can now add their own sound effects to pressing circles, making robot voices, bouncing on trampolines and whizzing around in cars. This book is a mix of art and activity. I love that all of the calls to action in each of the pages, open up a kid's imagination to the art on that page. It's such a wonder that Tullet can bring so much action to static pages simply through basic shapes and lines -- all in primary colors! You don't need an app, just Tullet's books to keep kids and their active fingers, bodies and imaginations occupied.
